Your role: Marketing Data Magician!

As part of a small, passionate marketing team, you will work closely with sales and product marketing to analyze and present data across the entire sales funnel – from brand awareness to lead generation and conversion through all sales stages. 


With your deep understanding of performance marketing, brand communication and sales, you will support the teams to prove and improve strategies regarding KPIs such as message-market fit, tool effectiveness, lead generation, conversion and retention.


Your great communication skills and passion to turn numbers into meaningful insights will ignite a data-driven performance assessment and decision-making in the marketing and sales process. 

 


In detail you will…

  •  Define all relevant internal and external, qualitative and quantitative data sources needed to analyze the performance of our marketing and sales activities
  •  Source and define tools and processes to collect data, analyze and report activity performance 
  •  Conduct market research, evaluate target group behavior and preferences, discover market trends, analyze product-message-market fit and effectiveness of campaigns as well as the sales enablement process across the entire funnel 
  •  Formulate, test and present data-driven hypothesis for the improvement of brand impact, sales conversion and campaign efficiency
  •  Translate scientific findings and theses into concepts for marketing and sales campaigns / experiments execution
  •  Set up analytics capabilities and visualizations and effectively communicate outputs (reports and interpretation) in a meaningful, comprehensive and consistent manner to all kinds of audiences, from executives to marketing, sales and product teams
  •  Bring market insights and other data sources together in a meaningful way to help the product team understand product-market-fit and find new concepts

  •  You know how to design usable and meaningful reports and data visualizations (tell the data story) and can automate them, e.g. in Power BI
  •  You have detailed knowledge of digital marketing concepts, communication channels, web analytics and sales strategies – ideally in a B2B environment
  •  You have experience with designing and running A/B tests or even multi-variable tests
  •  You have experience with programming languages associated with data science and processing (SQL, Python, R, etc.)
  •  You are good at managing agencies for speedy and qualitative progress
  •  You are business-fluent in English (we are a multi-national company and most conversations are in English)
