Freelance Designer/Copywriter

(Please note this is a 3 month initial contract with the possibility of a permanent contract)

Following our 2020 launch in the UK and ongoing expansion, we are looking for a mid-weight freelance Designer / Copywriter to support the UK marketing team with local creative requests. You’ll be working directly with the UK marketing team. Projects will involve a broad range of channels, including Web / blog, in-app, email, social, paid online, outdoor and marketing literature collateral. Basic video editing skills would be a bonus, but are not a must. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Production of artwork across multiple channels. 
• Successful onboarding and understanding of the Voi brand and marketing mix in the UK.
• Delivery of brand consistency across a broad range of channels and formats.
• Ability to work independently from taking internal briefs, to reviews and feedback and delivery of final assets. 
• Ensuring that design work is aligned with other methods of communication.
• Working with the wider Marketing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of all projects.

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 3+ years experience in design / copywriting.
• Ability to roll up sleeves and work independently, yet collaboratively in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment. 
• A positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Highly organised and able to deliver briefs on time, often with short deadlines to meet.
• Fluency in English
• Some knowledge of User Experience, CRM tools, utilising HTML, emails and in-app messages Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
• Basic video editing skills a bonus.
• A genuine interest in the Voi brand and mission!
