Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented junior designer to join our in-house Creative team. You’ll be creating supporting visuals for projects with speed and accuracy, with support and guidance from senior members of our design team. As part of this, you’ll play an important role in promoting awareness of EY’s visual identity, maintaining the integrity of the global brand and supporting our digital first agenda.



Your opportunity

As a member of the Creative team, you’ll work with our stakeholders on projects across multiple platforms to help meet EY’s digital first priorities while working in a collaborative and creative team. 

With current COVID-19 restrictions, staff safety is our priority, so the Creative Team are working remotely until further notice.



Your key responsibilities

  • Produce creative and engaging assets for online and physical events, social media, web and where applicable, printed materials
  • Drive quality and creativity for the brand
  • Position yourself as an EY brand and visual identity expert
  • Execute tasks assigned by our Creative Co-Ordinator in a timely manner
  • Understand creative briefs and seek stakeholder feedback when required
  • Implement feedback from senior members of the design team and direct from stakeholders
  • Develop relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders and teams you engage with
  • Develop strong relationships with our digital and print suppliers ensuring that deliverables meet the exact requirements specified
  • Contribute to fostering an energetic, fun, creative culture within the team and be an ambassador for us
  • Attend and contribute to scheduled remote team meetings

You must have

  • 2 years’ experience (minimum) in an in-house team, agency or freelance
  • A qualification in Visual Communications or related discipline
  • An understanding of UX and UI principles
  • Experience of producing assets for varied digital and social media platforms, including interactive documents
  • Experience in print production
  • Proficiency in the primary Adobe CC applications – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat
  • An understanding of Microsoft Office applications – especially PowerPoint



Nice to have

  • Knowledge of AdobeXD, AfterEffects, PremierPro and HTML is an advantage but not necessary
  • Experience in a similar environment is beneficial but not necessary
