Description

As Freelance/Interim Digital Product Designer you will be part of a committed team that is responsible for designing ‘best-in-class’ mobile applications and a full platform for the travel industries. Your brain and voice matter as much as your designs. You will be replacing our Lead Designer who's going on paternity leave; meaning you have an important role within Roadmap.

Are you the one?

Since we are in the business of making lists for people, we have made one especially for you! Here you go:

  • You are an independent thinker, creative and open-minded
  • You like working in an informal atmosphere, and like to convert complex problems into user friendly and smartly strategised designs for mobile

You're searching the 'how can I apply for this position?' section because:

  • You have at least (2/7) years of digital visual design experience. We recommend you check out the profile of Patrick de Jong, to see his experience and find a match between you and him.
  • To create your awesome stuff, you have experience with (native) Mobile – iOS and Android, Web is a pre.
  • Awesomeness does not come by itself, so you use stuff like Sketch and Zeplin and are familiar with an informal and hands-on way of working. You will be at the heart of delivering designs for our dev teams.
  • You love complex products so when you hear things like "Design Thinking", "Design System", "SAAS" you come running.
  • You are able to deliver high quality designs for brand new features or iterations and understand the need to be inkeeping with an already existing style.
  • Awesomeness should be shared with the entire galaxy, so you have affinity in working with developers, Product Owners and a Product Manager/Head of Product.
  • You care about User Experience.
  • You are able to lead a Visual Designer, and work with them to create sexy and user friendly designs that work well for our dev teams.
  • You have affinity with complex product design and building a design system around that with your team.
  • You are aware we use the word awesomeness too much.
  • You are available between January and June 2021 for at least 36 hours per week.

If the above already represents you, you are great! But to be awesome the next list also applies:

  • You are living in the Netherlands for at least 6 months
  • Experience with working in an Agile environment.
