"Toucan" painting

Title: Toucan Size: 50cm x 60cm Date of birth: October 2018 Medium: Acrylic + Linen Canvas I painted “Toucan” at the beginning of autumn when the colors in Poland started to fade slowly. I wanted to stop the shades of summer in the painting and feel the climate of the tropics once again. That’s why I decided to make toucan – a bird of paradise – the main character. I painted it with thick patches of paint by paint knives, but for the contrast, I made the background using flat spots. If you haven’t noticed yet – I am a lover of contrasts. 😉
