"But Donald", said God, "DNA doesn't lie!" is the first part of a triptych of illustrative works utilising paintings by the 15th-century Flemish artist, Jan van Eyck. My revisited and remodeled image presents Donald Trump praying, his tie blown over his shoulder by 'the breath of God'. God answers his prayer with the title of the work. A golden child sits on the lap of porn star Stormy Daniels, who allegedly had a 'liaison' with Trump before he became President. The Pope above and to the right of the implied 'mother' looks down on the scene. There are related signs and symbols beyond the interior of the space occupied by the main 'players' - I leave it to the viewer to read and interpret the unfolding narrative outside and in the distance. My artworks can be printed on a variety of materials and have the potential to be produced in a range of sizes, including large scale production.
