*etsi

*etsi is a collaborative, creative platform open to new ideas and contributing to multi-cultural interaction. It is a discursive process and progress, a mode of longing and belonging in the quotidian, the vernacular, the one that can be experienced through a multiplicity of ways. *etsi is celebrating one’s uniqueness in every single manner. *etsi is a series of touches, of strokes, of traces, of both remnants and newly born ways of living; it is a synesthetic approach to be fearless, wilful, ready to love and be loved. *etsi is about staying with the rhythms, sounds and images of our surroundings, is about engaging loss without demonising it, about expressing joy without mystifying it. *etsi is the erotic. *etsi is a power. *etsi as a flower, its shadow. *etsi as inclusivity. *etsi as us. *etsi was launched in 2007, at an industrial building in Piraeus through a creative workshop event. Since then,*etsi events have been happening every 2-3 years in collaboration with different artists, partners and organisations, such as the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, Organisation Earth and the Chinese Embassy in Athens.
