Liberty Leading

'Liberty Leading' is based on Liberty Leading the People, a painting by the French artist Delacroix. In this revisited and reworked version the main characters relate to contemporary politicians - President Trump replacing the figure of Liberty in the original Delacroix work - the backdrop, a war-ravaged Syria. On close observation, the viewer might spot the other characters who appear in this composition and determine their own narrative interpretation. My artworks can be printed on a variety of materials and have the potential to be produced in a range of sizes, including large scale production.
